This week we received two natural diamonds with an intense purplish red color, treated by irradiation and annealed at high temperature. These diamonds showed a strong and ‘patchy’ green luminescence under the UVL due to the H3 centers, and a red color produced by (N-V)- centers.
The combination of both defects results in a yellow color.
What a spectacular luminescence display! We hope to see more of those!
